Other Radar Forums
What other forums like this one to users here go to. This one and the Escort forum are about the only ones I know of, are there any other good ones?
Current detectors- 9500ci, V1 3.864, V1 3.813, STI Driver, Redline.
Previous detectors, 9500ix, 9500i, 8500x50, V1 1.7, Passport 5000 , Various Bel and Whislter detectors, original Escort.
Current Cars- 91 LX 5.0L (autocross only), 06 Fusion SEL with Steeda mods, 07 Five Hundred

There is a lot of talk about radar detectors on various car forums, but it's usually the same question- what's the best detector, should i get a v1 or 9500ix.
This is the best place for sure.

I second Kappaz. This is THE place for us geeks to openly discuss technical, design details and both objective/subjective experiences with different types of technologies intended for "ticket-avoidance" or paying our towns, states or countries with secondary taxes for their "operating budgets". Sometimes you get your occasional troll (My radar is bigger/better than yours) here and there, but for the most part the forum corridors of radardetector.net are filled with very competent and/or academically trained forum members. In short, this place is THE sh1t.

I also joined another RD forum, and suddenly and magically got an email from JT offering to sell me products. Then, they messed up the order, and I haven't been back since. This seems to be the site for the true hardcore hobbyists. That's what I look for regardless of the subject matter.

I poked around the escort site a bit, but found it was like a ghost town compared to this forum. Clicking on 'new posts' found maybe 1.
And yes..... the Dodgers lost ! (SF Giants fan - sidelined)
