Default How many folks actually put a level on their RD

I'm really impressed with the performance of the 9500ix.

I think a lot has to do with actually putting level on it and find it was off way more than I thought.

    So I thought I do a poll.

For my V1, I leveled it once and memorized where the window mount lines up with the side of the V1; it is one "click" in front of the speaker.

i mean it doesnt rele matter because even if you are on a completely "level" road you still will be slightly up or down a little bit...but it looks better leveled....style points

x2. I took a level to it once, and what I learned from that experience is that the car has to be level first for it to be accurate. From the trouble I had finding any level piece of pavement in the whole town, I understood that it doesn't really matter that much.

I put the level to mine, and check it from time to time. OCD, I guess.

I put a level on it the first time and now just eyeball it. Too many variables will screw up the "perfect mount"

I have used a level before but I usually just eyeball it from the outside of the car. That's the best way.
