Just noticed this was released 11/04/2009.
Not sure what was changed or updated from version 1.4. Hopefully someone will inform us of these changes.

Ah at least we know the software group got out bed
One thing Detector Tools was missing, albeit small, it was unware of the TSR option.
Regardless this is a good sign because they probably do need to release new detector tools to possibly handle upcoming firmware updates because of the mix of different units out there.
Do we have to uninstall version 1.4 first or will 1.5 overwrite it?

The old one works much better. This new version has unhandled exception errors, and display problems, on Windows 7 64 bit...
Did you uninstall 1.4 first ? If not, could that be a part of the problem?
No I didn't do that. It's worth a try. Although I don't think it has anything to do with the display issues (can't read some menu items). I'm interested to hear other responses.
The version number is on the bottom of the screen on one of the tabs when you are running the program. I think it is the last tab. I haven't got it loaded here to verify.
When you download the database it will have a different file name. You only have to load the latest one. You can keep all of the old ones.
Just updated and downloaded the new RLC database. Went as smooth as happys a$$.
