Yes it will.

Yes, I use the V1 hardwire kit to power all my detectors. You just don't get the handy mute button on the lighter plug.

The Belscort straight cord and Belscort Smartcord will also power the V1, but the Escort Smartcord will cause the V1 to lose the functionality of the mute button.

No mute button, no way to enter programming mode, and no switching modes (A, L, L) with the SmartCord.
