Default 9500ci Now Factory Option on Roush Mustangs

Got an email from Escort today announcing that the 9500ci is now a $2200 factory-installed option on Roush Mustangs. I wonder what you get for your $600? I'm especially curious as to where they put the jammer heads.

Can only hope they have custom grilles with slots already cut out in them for the shifters....wishful thinking?

    Got the email as well.

I think it would be a real hoot to see what they think is a competent install of the shifter and radar reciever heads.

    x2...

I wonder what happens when they get a rear-lidar ticket?

Or I/O, or even front PT on the ZR4...

Do they get their money back or what is the deal?

My old neighbor bought a Roush Mustang when the whistlers were their weapon of choice. I still can't find where they put the antenna.

I got the email was well. This is really gonna bite Escort down the road as most radar/lidar jammer users don't understand how to play the game and will get a ticket.

If you order this option it should come with a DVD to explain how everything works.

This could be a really good idea from Escorts standpoint if they implement it the right way. Like mentioned above, there should be a DVD and maybe a class on how radar and laser works and the detectors/jammers capabilities and limitations. Maybe that's what the extra $600 is - is for the class.
