My father has the red, I have the blue. I find the Blue to be brighter and easier to read. Remmember the Blue does cost you more, so it's all about pref.

I have a red display, and it works just fine for me. I've heard from others who say that they have a hard time seeing it in direct sunlight, although I live in Phoenix, AZ, and have never had that problem. It's all a matter of preference, like StlouisX50 said.

I had the red, and about amonth latergave it to my girl to get the blue :-), then my girl ended up stealing that and im back to the red...

If you are going for a stealth install, get the red- if it doesnt matter, DEF get the blue...

Your right Sethy, the blue is bright as  ell! I was out of the car one night and went inside for a few hours, checked my car outside and saw the amazing bright blue light blaring from the X50. It's very bright. Stealth would have to be Red for sure.

That's BS if i've ever heard it any better. Blue's got 4 dim settings. I own it, i should know. So, if you've got a problem with it being too bright... turn the frickin' brightness level down. I've owned a red X50, and it's the weakest red colored most worthless digital readout on a radar detector that i've ever owned when it comes to sunlight/glare. Case and Point.

He wasnt complaining, he was saying it is eye catching, so if it were for a stealth install its kind of hard to miss blue LED's in a guys windshield.

So say if I don't like the red screen, I can return it for a blue in 30 days and pay the extra cash for a blue? I plan on either buying it from besy buy, or Roy.
