V1 Zombie
Redline V's 9500ci
Has anybody compared the two at the same time? I read that some people say the redline has the same red hot detection as the 9500ci. If so what would interest me is the window tint factor. Case dependent naturally.

The 9500ci and the RedLine both offer the same radar detection performance. You will probably see better off-axis detection with the RedLine due to it's mounting position in the vehicle cabin being higher and surrounded by mostly glass. Off-axis is the ability to pick up radar from the sides and to the rear of you.

I have asked this in another unrelated thread and it was unanswered but...
Is there a way to mount the RADAR component of the 9500CI in the cabin? Is there a recommendation against it or a reason why I should not?
I have a Blendmount and was looking at it as a platform for the Ci's Radar component.
Thanks in advance!

happya$$ has his mounted in the cabin. Talk to him.
I wouldn't mount it in the cabin because you may want to run another RD with the ci in the future. A cabin-mounted ci and a windshield RD may interfere with each other.

Re: Redline V's 9500ci
9500ci has incredible range when mounted low. Category 4 and I both have it mounted that way. He has some videos showing a significant range advantage over the V1. DJRams80 also posted one like that.
So I don't think it needs to be windshield mounted. Even if it increased range, it would be at the point where it is not helpful to increase range.
I would be curious to see how 9500ci and Redline compared when both are mounted as recommended.
