Well, I've had my trusty 9500i for about 2 years now. I always knew laser detection wasn't great and I pretty much knew where LEO's hide on my morning commute. The past few months I've had a heavy foot but 2 days ago, I was driving on Route 80 East Bound in NJ using a rabbit traveling in the left lane. Had trouble spotting an undercover dark blue Dodge Charger NJSP in the trees with his window down. By the time i squinted i got nailed doing 84-65. 9500i goes off. I downshift and get in the middle lane. He pulls out and lights me up. Gives me the ticket for doing 84-65. he came after me because he didn't like the fact that I switched lanes and slowed down when I saw him. Even though my rabbit was going faster than I was. Its kind of disappointing because a few weeks ago I was about to pull the trigger on blinders however, the price point was still nagging me. I guess, its worthwhile for the investment. Lately on average I get hit with laser roughly 4-6 times on average per week. The reason why I've been getting by is because I know the Speed Traps. Ugh, this ticket will be pricey.
