9500i Firmware Update

Ok all so I live in a city where my V1 woul drive me crazy.

I loved it but it went off all the time.

I was able to find every Grocery store and Pharmacy for miles

I decided to trade for a 9500i

I noticed lots of issues with Ramp etc..

LEO would be on the road and I would hear a beep or too.

So I finally bit the bullet and bought a 12vDC convertor and updated my firmware

Took it out side and went looking for leo's

Oh boy I tell you that thing is extremely sensitive now

caught 2 leo's running to a call about 1.5 miles in front of me

got great KA hits and multiple K hits

I was so surprised I would get a 9500i with date code 1507 to respond that way

If you have one that is old please update the FW makes a world of a difference.

No issues ether way, loved all my 9500I's.

what does trhe new firmware do from the one I installed yesterday via Detector tool 9500i

1. Changed AutoMute volume to be about half of the normal volume.
2. Changed the 256KM/h limit to 412KM/h.
3. Added Traffic Sensor Rejection support. Only available if sent in for a factory update.
