    Default 9500ci static/feedback

When driving at slow speeds(may not be able to hear at high speed) I am getting an intermintent staticy feedback through my speaker. It sounds like some type of interference. Makes no difference if stereo is on or off. Anyone else experienced this?

Yes I had this same problem. I went to an electronics store and bought the largest ferrite bead they had and wrapped my power cable around it.

Like the biggest one you see in this pic. When the power cable is wrapped around it, its own magnetic fields act as a filter.

Common earth points can also be a source of this problem. Maybe try another earth point.

Haha, nothing makes a movie look more dated than when the hero whips out his gigantic brick of a phone and makes a call.

The directors of those films thought this gave them a cool, cutting-edge look. That may have been true at the time, but liked the bobbed hairstyles of the 30s it just looks dated now. Same thing with those old green-phosphor IBM PC computers that show up in some movies.

I have a Nextel that if I put it anywhere near the wiring for the speaker I get all kinds of static.
