    Default Upgrade to 9500ci

Was seriously considering it with Veil but as its a few years old, won't Escort be dropping the price / releasing a new model anytime soon? Hopefully, making the jammers better?
Anyone have any info about their new products?

The 9500ci is is an awesome product, one of the big pluses is the USB updateable feature for new features.
However Escort is always working on something new. The question is will it be in a year or two years. So no new products for now, and there new product when/if they have one may not even be what your looking for.

what are you going to be upgrading from? If you got a good set up now then I say wait and see what they come out with, when they do come out with something new.

Don't mind CJR238. He's the only one that thinks the audible rampup is anything but awful. He's an Escort apologist. No matter how bad an Escort feature is, he will defend it.

The audio rampup on the Escort 9500ci is completely terrible. It makes judging the distance to the radar contact via the audible alert, absolutely impossible. Notice how my 9500ci reaches maximum audible alert at 0:37 in the video below, a full four miles prior to reaching the radar source and is at full lock tone for almost a full two and a half minutes prior to reaching the radar source. There's no way any unbiased person could possibly defend this audible rampup. It's busted, period!

Sure everyone in GOL is always right and never wrong.

Ramp up sucks, but it doesint mean it makes the product completely useless, or intolerable.

I got a 9500CI in my garage and not installed because I felt the V1 was amazing. I must admit the 9500CI does give the 1st alert before the V1 in most cases on the highway but the ramp up is that bad to judge where the leo is.
