    Default Bushnell: 8500 vs 9500i

The 8500 consistently alerted to the Bushnell radar gun while the 9500i alerted around 5 times with 20 shots.

Unfortunately no. If I see my friend with the 9500i I will record the shots again, but the 8500 was from a BMW forum member that I met today to install lights for.

    perhaps, 9500i has better filtering.

I'm assuming these were Q/T tests. If so, isn't this consistent with the majority of information on the 9500i response to Q/T and/or I/O?

About 10 - 20 seconds. My friend is lending me his 9500 tonight. I'll make a vid of how it alerts to off axis shots and front facing shots.

Then I'll do one with my v1 to compare and if I can get hold of an 8500 I'll make a vid for that as well.

If you are testing QT, your results should be similar to the ones me and a few other forum members did below. Just make sure the gun isn't shot directly at the RD and is at a good distance away from the RD's.
