UGH... wife let X50 get stolen!

I love my wife, absolutely adore her too, she's so sweet and wonderful, but she can be ditzy sometimes... goes with being a blonde I guess...

Anyway, she called me today and asked me "did you take your radar out of my car?", referring to my trusty S7-platform X50 which I kept in her car. I said, no, it should be in the center console (its usual place when not being used). She said it wasn't there. I asked her if it got tossed under the seat or something, and she checked, and said no. I asked her if she left the car unlocked, and she said she went to a friend's house yesterday, and left the car open and the windows down. Well, DUH. This friend doesn't exactly live in the best neighborhood, and you leave the car wide open so anyone can just go in and fish through it? The X50 wasn't out in the open, it was stashed in the center console. Some douche must have fished through the stuff in her car, and the X50 was the only thing of any value. At least she didn't leave the keys and her purse in there.

I have more RDs than cars, so it's not like I have to run out and buy another RD, what gets me is this was the wonderful S7 platform. If I buy a new one it would be M4, yuck. I already have an M4 RX65 anyway. I'll start using that one when I drive her car, but I'll leave it in the house. She doesn't use the RD, I just had it in there for when I drive her car.

This really stinks. I had my cheapo detector stolen. It was a smash and grab. It happened in the parking lot of my office building in broad daylight. The up side to that was that I went out and bought a real detector. Anyways, at least there was no damage to your car or wife.

BJs are highly overrated, at least IMHO... better for me would be "Wife lets me buy expensive toy"

Well sorry to hear about the RD but I think that the other hobby should make up for it
