    Default Testing for Tint Interference?

I drive a 1988 Acura Legend LS Coupe. It has a grayish tint on the top 5 or so inches of the windshield. Is there any reliable method for testing if this will weaken radar reception? I am currently thinking about going to a door that causes K falses on my X50 and moving up from clear windshield to the tinted part and checking for signal strength changes. I don't know how accurate this would be for real alerts over long distances though...

The parking lot scenario is what I was thinking of doing to test. I'll be trying it soon to see if the signal strength stays the same. Any idea if the red light theory works?
