Escort RD for Canadians
Well, I've been searching around TRYING to secure a Redline and SC-55 (Escort's GPS unit for the Redline) to NO AVAIL. I contacted a place out of BC who told me the SC55 isn't for sale for retailers. I thought that very strange. RadarBuster's doesn't list the SC-55 anywhere, another Canadian retailer lists the SC55 under an article dated Feb 2010 but has yet to get any to sell.
I went to Escort's website to order but on the country pulldown list they only list USA so I got on live chat with one of their reps.
Good news for Canadians (only in BC, Alberta, Saskachewan) Escort will ship via USPS so you don't get raped on brokerage fees with a courier! Sure you'll be paying full US retail, but it's still much less than full Canadian retail.
The best price I could find in Canada for a Redline was $580 vs the US retail of US$499 and found a price as high as $750 out of Edmonton!!!
Figured this would help some of my Canuk buddies out.

Ahh of course I will. I ordered directly from Escort for US$499. I was just putting out there how high the prices CAN go. The best Canadian price I found was $580 but the SC55 wasn't available through them.

Even if you do pay full USD, the Canadian loonie is nearly at par today with the USA.......
