So, I'm in the process of deciding which radar detector to purchase, and I'm leaning towards the Escort Redline, but I have a couple concerns. I'm told that IO and/or QT are common in some of the areas I drive, and I'm wondering how the Redline performs for you in these areas. Do you get detections off of bounced/scattered IO or QT shots on cars ahead of you? I'm rarely, if ever, the rabbit in areas I know to be frequented by OSP, so there will most likely be someone in front of me getting hit before I would get hit.
Also, please don't suggest the V1, yes I'm aware it has the best IO performance. There's just too many ODOT sensors in my area for me to really consider it. It's ability to detect a signal at <0.2 seconds doesn't do anything for me if I have to have it muted for the first 5-7 seconds of a warning.
