CHP were very light on the trip but I did get a couple nice encounters. 1st was a 4.8 mile ka 34.7 alert just outside of Baker. He was with a victim on the southbound side and had his forward antenna still on, I was headed north. On the way back from Vegas coming down the grade into Baker there was a camper flipped over on the right shoulder, LEO was parked on the right shoulder behind the camper with his forward 34.7 still on. I got just over 1 mile of forward facing alert from him. Not too bad for forward facing and several trucks between he and I. Saw a couple NHP but none were using their radar at the time.
