What can I say?
The sensitivity is incredible to the point it's almost useless to know that the radar is a few miles ahead of you :-)
Another nice feature is auto dim wich 8500 lacked.
Bottom line - I'm extremely happy with it.

I got a 4.8 mile 34.7 alert going to Vegas. It was so long I began to think he was rolling along the same direction as I was. Congrats on your new Redline. The x-50 is a good detector, but after comparing the two it shows really how far the tech has advanced.
Congrats on your new purchase! I love my Redline! GF was even surprised when we got about a 4km alert even with a hill or two. If you like GPS speed camera alerts, the SC55 integrates very nicely with the Redline!
So very happy I didn't settle on the V1!

This is something I found odd when I got my 8500 X50. I came from the excellent but obsolete Escort DSP and original Passport, both of which had auto dim. I still have no idea why the X50 doesn't.
Anyway, glad to see it's back.

U will love the Redline. I upgraded from a rx65 and haven't looked back!! Good luck!
As you have discovered, and will continue to do so, the Redline is great. The best detector I have had.
Congrats.Hope you get many saves from it.
