X50 and RX65

I was wondering for all of you guys that have both the x50 and rx65 which one do you like better?

I like my x50 better :wink: the only thing i like about the rx65 is the KA usa mode detection on the bel rx65 sometimes i run with both radar detctors. ON the the bel I RUN WITH KA band trun on only BOTH rds at the same time no problems so far.

I have the X50, I think the performance on both are far more then ample... however just prefer the X50 over the RX65.

I'd love to see a combination of the two styles of displays used on the X50 and the Rx65

To me, the little bargraph signal strength thing is only marginally useful. I like how the Rx displays a 1-9 number on signal strength. On the other hand, I think it is critical to know how Many signals are out there shooting in your general direction.

My Ultimate Belscort display wouild read like this.

2.KA6 1.K9 4.X2

Where the number before the period is the #of bogeys on that band and the number after the band is the relative signal strength of the strongest of these.

Throw in arrows on top of that and you'd have a halfway decent product.

I use to have a RX 65, I hated among several things, that when you had it mounted it would glare on the windshield at night....

Yeah I would buy the RX65 if I drove on the right.
