Finally got my 9500ix, WOOT!

So, I joined here a couple months ago, asked some questions, and initially planned on buying a redline. After much discussion here, extensive research on my own, and lucking into a discount, I ended up deciding to purchase a 9500ix instead. I finally got it last night. I ordered it about two months ago, but that's a story for another time.

Anyway, I'm quite excited, but kinda bummed because we've had pretty decent weather here in Ohio for a while now, and as soon as I get my radar detector the weather turns to absolute ****. So far the only radar signals I've detected have been traffic sensors(before I turned TSR on), door openers at the mall, and what I'm assuming to be radar guns left in C/O at local police departments. I find it kind of funny to drive past the police stations, because so far I've picked up 4+ radar signals every time I drive by, and I just shake my head a little.

Glad you finally got it after waiting that long haha. It seems where im at in ohio (edges of I70 from zanesville to west virgina) the only thing I ever run into it X, K, and Laser. I won't see laser for like a month or two, then out of no where someone will be using it. I believe the last one I seen was an lti ultralyte. I also picked up one Ka signal from a town cop.

The cops around here are mildy fans of instant on, and constant on.

I know I70 is a bit south of you, but I figured I would let you know anyhow.

Laser is on I77 quite a bit.

The time it took to be delivered isn't a huge issue for me, I saved ~$275 because of the Best buy employee discount program. I encountered some issues with the ordering process, which is why it took me so long to actually get the radar detector. But, given that I got one of the best RDs on the market at a dirt cheap price, I'm not going to complain.
