    That's hilarious.

I had a speed trap alert go off today in Lexington. It was marked in the middle of an intersection... which i cant see being a common Speed Trap location unless theres a donut shop on the corner... and there's not. So i guess im gonna have to sign up for this and fix that.

Edit: Just signed up, found the trap... and its there and confirmed by 0 ZERO users. I dont have an option to vote it down...only to confirm... So i cant fix it. Also, why is it even in the official database when no one has even confirmed it? Kind of a boo boo there...

Yes,that was an over reaction based purely on emotion at the time. I'm not going to sell my 9500ix,I like it too much.
I did the same as Goofy by checking some locations and they have 1 confirm or zero and I can't give an opposing vote. I don't expect this feature to be perfect and there will be chinks in the chain as with all things new. It certainly looks promising and I'm sure that it will get better with time.

A few i put in that were confirmed 1 time, but were not added (i believe its 2 confirmations to add). So any that have 0 should not be on (i confirmed with Escort).

So how do we go about removing the ones that do have 0 confirmations?

Good question, we will have to ask on Escorts forum Monday here: http://escortradarforum.com/forums/s...ead.php?t=3292

For the most part, I have been happy with the speed trap notifications on my 9500ix. A two hour trip from N. San Diego to near Barstow CA. only gave me two warnings. However in Rancho Bernardo where I work, there are three speed trap warnings all within a mile of each other. She is yapping all the time. All three have zero confirmations. At first I tried to unmark them by pressing the mute button, but after doing a little searching found that "You can individually remove the traps as they alert by pressing the mark button multiple times."
I'll try that out on the way home.

I've been pretty happy with the new speed trap notifications as well. There are a few that alert right after the actual trap, but for the most part they are pretty accurate and a nice addition to finally have them.

What is the exact procedure to submit new speed camera locations to Escort?

I found this in the local newspaper this morning: You're on camera - http://www.fredericknewspost.com/sec...storyID=121588
