I would like to buy one used if the price is right. I don't expect it to perform like a corded Escort but would think its better than models made by our foreign friends. Opinions re: reliability and performance are welcomed . Thanks.________The Dr.

I have an S3.
the only application that it is useful for is constant on radar. If you have any other speed measurement threats in your area it will be pretty useless.

The locals here run c/o K band and SP run c/o Ka 95% of the time. They are too lazy to turn it on/off and even lazy-er to start aiming lidar. Solo should be OK.

I have owned both. There is NO difference in detection between the two, despite the 30 percent more range claim.
