I know from reading threads over the years that turning POP on reduces reaction time and sensitivity on almost all bands, but I hadn't paid too much attention the details since I thought it was something I would never encounter. Now that I am going to be moving to Nevada in a short while, I've been doing a lot more research and reading of old threads on POP. The more I read posts like the above one (sorry to pick on you Nine), the more I'm thinking it might not even be worth it. Is the performance decrease on bands other than 33.8 really so severe that I should just leave POP off even in Nevada? I understand I'm going to lose reaction time and thus could miss I/O shots, but how is my range going to be affected on other than 33.8? This kind of seems like one of those things where I'm screwed either way.
