New 8500X50 Black.. Better than X50 Silver?

I just returned the X50, is the 8500x50 black much better? Or is the difference negligible.

Take a look at some of VanMan's recent posts. He says it definitely seems a bit more polished than the X50 and it does have range increase. Escort says 40 percent over the silver.

Agree, but that 40 percent is in the Lab, allot more testing needs to be done to get a fair assessment out in the real work. Hopefully this RD makes the next GOL test

IMO a big YES. BUT, why did you return the X50? Another product, the STi Driver, Redline, STiR+, Valentine 1, 9500ix, etc. may be better suited to your individual needs and wants.

You may want both a V1 and a X50. i have both. I love the V1 for the open road but around Chicago the 9500 or X50 is the one because the V1 just makes to much noise.
