    Default X50E in the US

So Nine showed us the menu options of the X50E a few months ago, which have a very extensive segmentation menu that is far more advanced than its closest NA counterpart, the RX-65 M4. Hypothetically, would the X50E give US protection? I know frequencies are a bit different in the EU and US, has anyone tried this? IIRC there are some big K-band differences.

Features over and above the standard USA X50 are:
    X band - 10475-10575 MHz (10.525 GHz)
    K band - 24050-24250 MHz (24.125 & 24.150 GHz)
    SW KA band 33400-36000 MH
    Ka Band separation modes
    Ka1 band - 33400-33660 MHz
    Ka2 band - 33660-33900 MHz
    Ka3 band - 34400-34600 MHz
    Ka4 band - 34800-35100 MHz
    Ka5 band - 35100-35400 MHz
    Ka6 band - 35600-36000 MHz
    KaN1 band - 33900-34100 MHz (34.0 GHz
    KaN2 band - 34200-34400 MHz (34.3 & 34.36 GHz)
    KaN3 band - 34600-34800 MHz (34.7 GHz)
    KaN4 band - 35400-35600 MHz (35.5 GHz)

Ku band- 13400-13500 MHz (13.450 GHz)
    Ku1 - 13400-13450 MHz
    Ku2 - 13450-13500 MHz
    POP Ka - 33725-33875 MHz

LOOK AT THAT SEGMENTATION...RIDICULOUSLY AWESOME. Check out the vids of the X50E against true QT...it tears it up every time, as well as Ka-POP.

I never saw Nine's post. I never knew this unit exists.

Which leads me to my next question: Why the hell don't we have this in the US?

How are these features not on the new x50 black? It even looks like the KaN segments are for North American frequencies.

    So unfair!!!!

Yeah I'll try to find the post. There are sooooo many videos on Youtube of the X50E going against the QT radar that the normal X50 did not do as well and the X50E did it with EASE.

radar detectors preview test on Quick Trigger/POP part2 (Riga) - YouTube

Start at around 7 minutes. It is kickin some mad ass...

It also has 'K-pulse' detection which seems to make it do QT much better.

Yes, I do have an 8500 x50 Euro, but segmentation is only KaN1 to KaN4 and Ku is not segmented at all. Maybe Nine presented another detector not 8500 euro?

    Ka Band separation modes
    Ka1 band - 33400-33660 MHz
    Ka2 band - 33660-33900 MHz
    Ka3 band - 34400-34600 MHz
    Ka4 band - 34800-35100 MHz
    Ka5 band - 35100-35400 MHz
    Ka6 band - 35600-36000 MHz
Did you type in the bands correctly? If so, there looks to be a big problem here with band segementation:
No coverage between 34.6 and 34.8, so you get owned if its 34.7, and the same thing from 35.4 to 35.6, so you get owned if it's 35.5.
