So Nine showed us the menu options of the X50E a few months ago, which have a very extensive segmentation menu that is far more advanced than its closest NA counterpart, the RX-65 M4. Hypothetically, would the X50E give US protection? I know frequencies are a bit different in the EU and US, has anyone tried this? IIRC there are some big K-band differences.
Features over and above the standard USA X50 are:
X band - 10475-10575 MHz (10.525 GHz)
K band - 24050-24250 MHz (24.125 & 24.150 GHz)
SW KA band 33400-36000 MH
Ka Band separation modes
Ka1 band - 33400-33660 MHz
Ka2 band - 33660-33900 MHz
Ka3 band - 34400-34600 MHz
Ka4 band - 34800-35100 MHz
Ka5 band - 35100-35400 MHz
Ka6 band - 35600-36000 MHz
KaN1 band - 33900-34100 MHz (34.0 GHz
KaN2 band - 34200-34400 MHz (34.3 & 34.36 GHz)
KaN3 band - 34600-34800 MHz (34.7 GHz)
KaN4 band - 35400-35600 MHz (35.5 GHz)
Ku band- 13400-13500 MHz (13.450 GHz)
Ku1 - 13400-13450 MHz
Ku2 - 13450-13500 MHz
POP Ka - 33725-33875 MHz
LOOK AT THAT SEGMENTATION...RIDICULOUSLY AWESOME. Check out the vids of the X50E against true QT...it tears it up every time, as well as Ka-POP.
