Escort Live and hands free phone operation

I have confirmed that Escort Live operates along with bluetooth hands free connection to your car or a headset. This applies to all iPhones and Android OS 2.2 and higher smartphones.

Please note that some cellular service providers limit simultaneous data and voice usage. This however is not a limitation of the Escort Live apps.

UPDATE: I have been informed that the data usage statistic I previously provided was too high of an estimate. I will soon be doing my own data usage tests and will publish the results.

I will post more detailed statistics as I get them and I'm sure that forum members will be posting this kind of information as they use Escort Live. Escort Live has been designed to limit data usage as much as possible while still delivering timely information.

this hand free blue tooth capability will be perfect for motorcycle riders, once we get the direct wire cord version out. Your detector goes off and alerts your phone and the blue tooth feature in your phones alerts your headphones you have in your ears!
At least that is how it would work to my understanding.

Yes. Radar Roy mentions exactly this happening to him in his Escort Live SEMA webcast. He said he was on the phone and recieved a "cop spotted" alert over his phone while in a phone conversation.
