just wondering how much better the 9500ix range is better than the 8500 x50... not performance, just strictly range.
couldnt find any videos testing 9500ix vs x50 so i thought i would ask you guys how much better rage the ix is than the x50.

My 8500x50 against an around the bend K-band sign would alert about 200 feet closer to the sign (1-2 seconds slower after where my 9500ix would normally).
If the radar source is directly in front of you, the range on the 9500ix is quite a bit more...maybe 3 seconds more advance notice on the 9500ix
It depends if the X50 being compared is a silver X50 or the new X50Black. There is no range difference between a X50Black and a 9500ix. So it's about the same difference between the silver X50 and 9500ix as it is between the silver X50 and the X50Black. The difference is quite noticeable on K and Ka radar encounters.
yeah i got the x50 silver... and thanks for the replys
The Black version has a better lens than the silver version. The Black version now has the same lens as the 9500ix.
Vectors = X50 silver < X50 black = 9500ix.
strictly talking range
Vector 995/8500 x50 = nearly the same
RX65 = more then the 8500 x50
8500 x50 Black = more then rx65
9500ix = same as 8500 x50 black
STI Driver = more then 9500ix
STI Magnum = more then STI Driver
Redline = top of the line
Valentine 1 around the same as STI Driver to Redline depending on situation
The X50 Black is Escort's sweet spot in terms of value. It's a GREAT detector for $300.
