Default Making my own power cable - Which wires need to have power?

I've searched and searched, obviously I'm not using the right terms.

I've got a phone cord that I wish to make my own power cord out of. I just need to know which "pins" or wires need to have the + and -.

I'm assuming the middle two (out of the four) need it, but wanted to double check and if anyone knows exactly which one should be ground and which should be positive that'd be great!

    Thanks

that's exactly what I was looking for and what I thought would be the case. I assume the v1 and 9500ix are the same in this regard - I'll let you know if I have different results.
