Hey guys and girls, I have an x50 which spits off a laser alert whenever I accelerate. It started when I had to replace my battery. At first I thought I had a dirty electrical source but I switched the x50's display to voltage mode for about a week. At idle my voltage was 13.9 and under load/acceleration it was at 14.6. The whole time my voltage was in that range. I was never looking straight at the x50 when it went nuts and screamed laser so I coudn't tell you for sure if it went over 14.6. But I'm pretty sure that shouldn't make much difference since the x50's not supposed to show overvoltage until it reaches around 16 volts. So I'm thinking my car must be giving off some kind of RF noise when I accelerate. I just don't know what else to check. I borrowed my friends x50 for a few days and It did not give me one laser false. So is it possible my x50 is out of calibration? I need to get this solved asap, this morning I muted my x50 thinking it was another laser false and almost got nailed by a pack of Tampa PD cops running a speed trap.
Thanks in advance
