Is something wrong with Ka Long Range on X50 & RX65 !

In Radar Roy's 2005 tests The x50 and RX65 had the same performance on Ka band.In Speed Measurement Lab's site the X50 is the best Long Range On Ka band or Hill test , etc ! But in some topics the site admins and other professional users say RX65 is the best on Ka ! What is that mean ?

I have no problems picking up Ka with my x50. I've picked up at least half a dozen threats in virginia, maryland and on the PA turnpike that were using Ka. Ka is the best IMHO because it's NEVER a false and that brap ALWAYS gets your attention instantly.

Im already using X50 and x50 has an really satisfied long range detection in Ka band. Im living in Turkey and there is only 1 band ''Ka'' in here. Now Im looking to buy a new detector for my best friend... And ı wanna make a choice between rx65 or V1 ! Which one do u suggest ?

Fuuny but this question keep poping up. From the results we can conclude that all top RD perform quiet well. V1 is very sensitive with LASER (won't save you.).

The botton line compare the features and get the one that has the features that will suite you.

I have RX65 and I have recommanded X50f to my friend. RX65 falses on laser when I use my phone (GSM). Other than that I like it.

This is a common misunderstanding. Having a detector that can detect when you are being hit can save you. VEiL and Lasershield do offer protection against laser, and you need the detector to tell you when to slow down

As for getting the rx65 or v1. Where do you do most of your driving? Do you know what band your are uses?

There is only one band active ''Ka'' in here ... And My x50's x band off K band off , pop off and laser off

And I love my x50 cause of this selectable tweaks ! We will buy another RD for my friend and we need ur suggestions !

RX65 beat all the other detectors 2/3 KA ranges on KA.

If you run the tech mode on the x50, what freq are they using? I think you could pinpoint the gun they use this way

Wait only Ka? What are the frequencies? Are you trying to detect Multanovas at 34,3 GHz?

I dont know the frequency but ı will search for it ! There is no Multanovas in here ! Also ı have an Bel Vector 945 which ı bought 3 years ago already working so good on Ka band ! But much Falses ofcourse
