Went to a local dealer today and picked it up for $499 + $50 (discount) for a 4-year protection warranty including total loss/theft.
Then paid $130 to have it hardwired with a remote mute switch/button installed.
So far, just reading the owner's manual and getting familiar with the device. But I must say that it feels very durable/solid. You can tell that this thing is a quality unit. I will be sure to take a picture and post my setup later... in a bar right now writing a book.
