I picked up a used 8500 and it worked great for about 2 months - loved it. Now it goes off all the time and I never see any cop cars. It is getting really annoying. Is there a way to reset this or should I just throw it out? Thanks!

When it goes off, is it constantly redlining or showing full alert and then going off?

If so, some of the newer cars use radar for blind spot monitoring. When Im driving down I-95 and I see a new Audi or MB in front of me and it goes to full alert, then stops, then goes back to full alert 20 seconds later, I know its probably their speed control or blind spot monitoring. And yes, its absolutely annoying.

Well not being the smartest person around, I was running a Solo and my 8500 together and the Solo was setting the other one off. My 8500 still has the laser go off like full tilt and then it stops. Could be other cars setting it off though.
