Default 9500ci to get band segmentation

Escort Rep stating that this is soon to happen. Band segmentation is a feature that has been lacking in this unit and should be a real improvement if it functions similar to the Stir+ and the Redline. This needs to be tested but in theory should make the 9500ci more responsive to radar. Hopefully it will up its range to the Stir-O which is the benchmark of US manufacturing. Release in end of 2014 or first of 2015.

We have Larry to thank for that. He's been a good friend/advocate of our community and I believe his influence is impacting Escort's products in a great way. Larry is definitely on board with the whole BSRDR advantage.

I trust this capability/feature set will become pretty much mainstream in other (future) products that aren't based upon the "digital" backend processing that the Max/Max2 uses.
