Actually both units have dual antenna. No, antennas or dual antennas don't interfere. It's the built in signal amps that amplify the received signal that "could possibly" interefere. They were actually 16" apart. It did not at all seem that these detectors set each other off, so, while I agree that 1 detector at a time is best...I am not so positive it's always required with high end detectors. I am planning to test your theory though.
