Yes Roy, it's fast on K band. I want to tell you that only K band was on and also K pulse on. K pulse is not a real help here, it is special for 60msec pulsed bursts Iskra radars (56msec on/4msec pause) Even with K pulse off, the results are the same. The radar source is a low power 5mw custom made, and the RD was 4 meters away.
In this video i want to show the "real" quick trigger ) On internet there are a lot of QT tests video, but no one did not show real quickness of the trigger. Maybe nineC1 do some tests with stopwatch, but he use normal radars with double push trigger and stopwatch, but I think you just can't move two times the finger (from stand by to emission and then from emission to stand by) in under 100msec...I analyse frames in my video (the original long one) and i came with that conclusions. So the "euro" special software is able do detect wery short QT's.
I wonder if a normal (USA version) "top dog" detector can do that...
With full Ka band and POP enabled, the sensitivity did not goes over double that times...
I do the test also for Bel 990 International (S7 horn), and the sensitivity is about the same, but reactivity is somewhat better than this M4
Can you believe it or not, Whistler 1793 is the quickest RD on K band that I have to test...
The Whistler is? That is a surprise
