    Default scanning/cycle mode?

    hey all im new here and really enjoy these forusm, i have a question about the x50.... what is scanning mode? ive herad of it, but what does it have to offer?

    You must be thinking of the "scanning dot" mode, which simply shows a scanning dot on the display when the X50 is idle (not alerting to radar).

    It's a nifty/cool feature (blinky lights!) but it has no effect on performance.

    I agree with kpatz your probably thinking of the 'Scanning Dot'.

    Which by all means increases the X50's coolness factor exponentially.
