I'm gonna have to throw a RED FLAG on that kerfflufle of your's !

I had the opportunity to Test a Max360ci + zr5 "Shifters" (Front Dual) today & my results partially contradict your results referenced above. While I will agree it did perform well (JTG) against 5 Legacy Lidar guns. EscortRadar's advertised claims of defeating DragonEye Lidars is absolutely not true, I found today. This was only a short range Test (550ft) in a suburban setting just to confirm the system was operating properly prior to returning the TESLA P90D to its Owner.

I brought along 3 DragonEye Lidars:

    2014 SpeedLidar model = JTG
Recent Compact model = NO DETECT & IPT
Recent SpeedLidar model = NO DETECT & IPT

While the system does show potential, it's just not ready for Prime Time just yet.
Back to the Lab for resolution of issues, surely ER is aware there are now many Towns/Cities in their own backyard (OHIO) + many other States deploying these Lidar guns.

    I'm used to it. LOL.

Since you are now independent of RALTEC, and I think you are not TOO far away, if or when you would be willing, I'd like to see your targeting in action. Unfortunately, my BMW is fubar'd right now and the front bumper is in dire need of replacement because I lost an argument with a snow mound. Maybe later in the season. It just goes to show, that mileage does indeed vary with every countermeasure/install. Have you made ER aware of your first hand findings? I'd be interested to know their response. I can also pass on your experiences...

I think there are a good number of DE variations floating around out their, if I am correct 13 or so? That's a lot of territory to test just with one MFR. Escort was definitive with the results of the test and I don't believe I was BS'd. Why do so with such a limited audience?

Well from the radar testing I've seen it's almost but not as good as the Redline with range and has trouble with Ka falsing, misses I/O Ka just as bad as missing LIDAR. It's looking like just another iteration of the 9500ci and with a markup and reduced performance. Escort had a chance to make something really amazing here, it's a shame it's falling short, and costing more ontop of it hopefully the software nature of it will mean that it does see updates, otherwise it's a step backwards, in a market that's gotten very competitive over the last 2 years.

Or a 9500ci with VG filtering for K band falsing! That's its biggest claim to fame. So much for new Shriff in town.....

I've seen some of the "testing" conducted by RALTEC. At Roy's and our sponsored event in 2015, several of the attendees heard one of the testers after shooting with a DE that was tearing up the jammers, including the company that mirage was working on selling for (and not disclosing that fact, at the time) -- the company (he) was professionally representating was Stinger -- and what was said after putting down the gun and not documenting the outcomes said and I quote verbatim, "we want to make the jammers look good." While the Stinger was lauded by them and other affiliate-based testers and users that received free product for an extended period of time, it has since shown to be underwhelming. Unfortunate for the early adopters accepting those results and the group think online that followed.

So, so much for the objectivity and integrity of so called "independent" testing.

While I may personally question the veracity of their published results in general, perhaps their results are correct in this particular case, but I personally have (less than) zero interest in what that guy does. Been there, done that. You may want to ask mirage (and other testers) what companies they may be formally "representing," either directly in sales or directly through affiliate sales.

There are LOTs of different versions of the DEs floating around, and unless a test, tests ALL variations of them, it's impossible to know the WHOLE picture. Fortunately the amount of VPR DEs in circulation is far far less than all others and to my knowledge not one jammer company is effective against every gun that has ever been tested (even if those results have not been publicly disclosed).

I've seen this movie reel play out over the 13 years on the forums (with former "independent" testing groups), including with (original AL), LPP, Drivesmart, LaserStar, LI, etc...

I would trust individual tests from RedRocket far more than with that group. I don't believe RR has ever had a "professional," compensating, or affiliate relationship with any company. Even so, I wouldn't bet that he has access to ALL variations of these guns, there are just too many. I can't speak to the particular firmware versions that were tested with the Ci 360 and I fully acknowledge the possibility that there are indeed some that could still be challenging (and, in fact, more to come in variation).

Over time, we'll all get a better picture of what's what, just as it's been with other products.

But in terms of RALTEC themselves, they and the forums they reside--which have been bought and paid for multiple times over--have shown to have more (hidden) agendas than the Clintons...

With all due respect Mr. Veil Guy, Escort is touting that the M360ci s slaying the Dragon, when in fact 1/5 guns so far have defeated it and more to come.
