Seriously.......a "closed" test? What test? I don't see any indication that a test even happened......you know, charts, videos, pictures and commentary by the "testers".

Well, I know Stinger didn't run that "test" and neither did ALP......nor any reputable independent test group.

So that leaves just you and the marketing weenies from Escort. Where is the real test with real test results?

Wellll, let's meet this new sheriff in Town, VG.
I'm open minded, provided you supply the standard documentation (or more) than we "backyard, amateur Tester's" typically provide/Post.

According to Best Radar Detectors, there's something coming out today to put everything , including the Redline, on the shelf. Thoughts???

Don't know what's being referred to, but I doubt they were s referring to an Escort product, because I've been informed that they are no longer authorized to sell their products, if that is indeed accurate.

I do know Escort DOES have some things up their sleeve though and when given the go ahead by them, I'll post some things up online, but one of them does indeed that it will lay the marker down. Target date is sometime in 3rd quarter of this year.

The new Uniden R1 and R3 are testing better than anything ER has offered for a decade. They are at a less than $400 price point and have apparently thrown down the gauntlet to V1, Redline and anyone else out there. Plus, Uniden is doing it without need for LNA.

We already know about the Max 360 ci and the Solo 4 ( battery powered unit). Only thing that would stir my interest would be a GPS enabled M3 with great K band filtering.

Mr. Veil Guy, Mr. Vortex has already done a video summarizing the test results of the Redline v. R1/3. See it here if you like: https://youtu.be/ZDpIjkEt7HU

Mr. Veil Guy, when is your review of the new Max 360 Ci? About a month ago, you posted its availability and test results, but we've seen nothing.

Apparently installed Max360 ci units are now being tested and on the lidar front, it's not promising. Two separate tests of the ShifterMax lidar units show that they are not alerting to D/R/A/G/O/N i units. Remember, if it can't even see it, it can't jam it. @Veil Guy , Mr. Veil Guy, what do you think?

Mr. Veil Guy, I just saw this test on the Max360ci and was wondering if this is consistent with your findings.

Agreed, early testing actually seems most unimpressive on the LIDAR front.

The good news is Escort is at least aware of the problem.

Based on past history with Escort and updating for LIDAR, well time will tell if they've changed their approach to get involved on this one.

Still waiting on the results of radar testing. The hope for this unit right now lies in the radar abilities. It's just awfully expensive to like the 9500ci, be supplementing it with ALPs that actually work and receive regular updates to not only detect but also protect against police lidar. Net Radar + ALPs can be just as stealthily installed (or even more based on the size of that M7 brick!) at a fraction of the cost, even if performance isn't as good, if it's 90%; all the hope we had in January at CES will fade rapidly.
