A buddy of mine just had a Escort Zr3 put in at Tweeter in his infiniti I30, I had some concerns with how it's installed but his installer assured him it's perfect.
I wanted to get your opinions, I've never installed a jammer in this position.
Although his front shifters have a perfectly clear unobstructed view of the road ahead, they are mounted on the frame of his I30, which is recessed about 10" from "open air", or from being flush with the outer-most part of the front fender.
My concern was that a laser hit from a officer sitting at a elevated position will prevent the shifters from seeing the infrared light due to their recessed position.
what do you think? The shifters on my I35 are flush with the front fender, which is where I told him the ought to be.
