Can someone explain the messages appearing after trying to post new material ("...requires you to wait ?? seconds between posts").

If I wait the required time, then try posting again, I end up posting duplicate posts. Even with 10 minuets or more between posts, I still get this message.

If I don't click on the submit button a second time, my post will not appear on the thread. If I do hit the submit button again (after waitjng the required time) I end up with a duplicate post.

So what do I (we) do to avoid duplicate posts???

Any suggestions where to mount the LI sensors?

Has anyone done anything cool inside the car in terms of mounting the CPU? What about the Aux speaker? All suggestions welcome

I am also looking to replace the switches (power and parking assistant) that came with my LI Quad (2011). I want to buy some really small push button switched - does anyone know what I should ask for when I go to Radio Shack or electric supply house?

Thanks in advance,

Mounted the detector to the mirror via Blendmount. Bluetooth module is velcro'd to the headliner.

Really clean install. Really easy, very good coverage, very stable.

So about a half hour away there are some new speed signs in the school zone . On both sides of the road. I am so confused with this.

They are yellow signs that say Your speed is. They are some sort of instant on.. However.......

btw pop mode was not on for this.

Test one : I drove down and was given about 800-900 foot range Alerting K Band (on my escort x50) That was fine. I went down about a kilometer to hit the other sign from the other direction around a very slight curve in the road. I was the only car on the road ( in all directions ) the thing clocked my speed at 65kms And did not alert on my detector!!!? They are the same sign , shouldn't it alert k Band

Test 2 : I drive down the hill and get about 500 feet away where I get a ramp then it goes silent till about 300 feet and fully ramps again/ again I drive down about a mile or so and spin around to try the other sign and it gets my speed and gives me a full blast alert of k AFTER it has my speed

Anyone know whats is up ???

What is the real value of Custom Sweeps?

Hi all,

New to the forum, so forgive me if this is a newbie question. I did do some searches but could not find a good answer to this. What is the real reason to have custom sweeps? I am trying to figure out if I should upgrade to get ESP on my Valentine One and the V1Connection functionality seems to be the main addition. I do not need to use my Android as a remote display as I already have a concealed display (which I would also need to upgrade in order to get full ESP functionality), which suits my needs fine.

As such, it seems to me that Custom Sweeps would be the main additional functionality that I would get with ESP and I would love to know what I should really expect in terms of tangible benefits. I think I should see fewer falses since I can specify tighter bands for the sweeps. Can anyone comment on how much of a difference it makes? Does it cut falses in half, or just avoid the odd leak from a cheap radar detector?

I also think I should potentially see slightly earlier warnings if I double up on sweeps in a particular range. However, I assume we are talking maybe a second or two earlier, not much more than that, right? Now that might make all the difference in the world when you are traveling at highway speeds approaching a radar source, but I just want to set my own expectations correctly.

Thanks in advance for any advice.
