Default Recommendation For GOL Laser Test

I've heard that GOL will be doing a laser jammer test. I'm making a recommendation that when testing how well the ZR4 can jam laser, you should also do a seperate test to see how well it can detect laser. The ZR4 has a laser detection feature on it too. I think this would be useful because in the states where laser jammers aren't allowed, it would be good for those people to know how well the ZR4 can detect laser.

Not that I don't see the merits of your point, but everone who buys a ZR4 is gonna use it as a jammer regardless of whether jammers are illegal where they live or not. Nobody's gonna spend $$$ for a laser detector.

I think the FL guys already tested this. Detection is amazing.

I think I remember seeing one of the video's that you can actually see them firing and the zr4 was much better than the PASS if my memory serves me right.

Look at the IR shots done by cbr and Elvato in the garage with the Expy and the TDI side by side... look very closely and you will see how well it detects weak splatter IR from the LIDAR VERY well indeed!

Yea, the laser reception is incredible. I mean it would turn on even when it was not targeted.

Granted, this was done at night, so it might be a little easier for the jammer to "see" the gun's beam, but the overall results should translate to daytime.

There's two IR videos in the video section if you want to see them.

EDIT: I might as well say since I'm sure someone is bound to. If you're worried about laser detection in a state where LJ are illegal, get a V1.

Here's the thread to one of them.
    http://www.radardetector.net/forums/...m-ir-vids.html

The other one, I'm sure is somewhere in the 2nd CFL meet. Lemme get the vid directly.

EDIT: I think the second one is on Cbr's blip account. The first one should give a good idea, though.

Ok, so the ZR4 does have good detection? Also, will GOL be testing this?
