Default GoL 2008: Veil G4 Test Car & Application.

Just thought I'd put up some pics of G4 applied to my Impala, and answer any questions you all might have. I can't discuss performance until the results are posted but I can discuss application, removal, etc.

For the application this go around, I did not have my proper setup, nor did I have the opportunity to remove my headlights.

HappyA$$ just walked up with the can, two used foam brushes and said lets install this. So the application was decent, but by no means was it anything I would be proud of, or would have used in the real world.

I forget the exact expression, but I would summarize my application as looking good from 5FT away. However, given my proper tools, and the head lights removed from the car it would be no problem to apply a perfect application of G4.

If applied with brand new brushes Veil G4 looks great! We were lazy and just wanted to test performance so looks was not very important to us.

Interesting. The first pic looks darker for some reason, probably just a shadow.

Overall, it looks good.

the passenger side light ended up being a little darker being I put it on a little thicker. the first picture was taken about a minute after applying it, so it was very fresh and had not even dried yet.

the drivers side light I applied very light, and it had plenty of time to dry by the time I took that pic.

Thanks for the explanation.

It's definitely an improvement over G2.

I'm impressed, it certainly looks a lot better. Do they have a special upgrade pricing for my almost-full previous-gen can?

personally if the passenger side still has good light throughput I'd apply more to the driver side, looks nice

I think that the new Veil G4 looks great! Certainly a heck of a lot better than the hazed headlights on my car since the Hyundai clear plastic headlight covers are so cheap that they don't have enough built-in UV stabilizers to prevent them from hazing over time.
