I rent LIDAR and radar, even w/ speed signs!
LTI Marksman AND Ultralyte 200LR, Stalker LIDAR, Kustom Pro Laser II, Pro Laser III, Laser Atlanta Advantage (R-style) and 6 Doppler's.
I received the gun today. I briefly tested it tonight ranging and hitting a few cars looks like it works great. Does anybody have a manual for this thing? Any help would be appreciated

Lumberjack......isn't the Original thread about a Pro I?
I'm gonna have to lean on the Professor for the who made the Pro I, my mind is foggy.
It still could be a LaserCraft unit, or a LA just before two LA people went separate ways.....
With the LTI guy owning a bunch of these patents, I'm not sure if the design was to circumvent (build their own "different" solution) a patent, use its license oR just develop a LIDAR gun out of a radar (Falcon Hr-12) shell.......................
I do read some interesting stuff from a poster on the yahoo radar forum who knows his stuff.

It's most likely Laser Atlanta:
- Lasercraft wasn't around until 1994, and the ProLaser I was around before that.
- Although the ProLaser I patent is assigned to Kustom Signals, one of the inventor names on the patent is Scott Patterson, who was president of Laser Atlanta at the time.

Who knows that? Jeez!

Our Pro II is 1994, so the change between Pro I & II is arguably 1992-1994.
Once the generations of Pro I & II (same Falcon radar body style with extension) were done, the Gen 3 (arguably) Pro III body style and development seems to have been through Laser Craft with Scott Patterson at the helm.
At the time of the filing (1999) Laser Craft claimed there were 4000 Pro III LIDARs in use.
His FDA.gov filing is found on the internet with some laser diode array dimensions and that reasoning for going down in pulse rate and down in aperture size for eye safety.
