Belscort must not have known what R&D is or, maybe, Mike V is so ingenious they simply couldn't find a way to beat him. I'd be willing to bet on the Second one.
Why would you waste $1600 for a radar detector anyway. The V1 has still trounced detectors that cost nearly $100 more than it. I guess Belscort has to make the detector 4x as expensive before they can beat the V1 and also resort to a remote mounted location.
Jazzy mentioned a good point. You would be money ahead to invest in an LPP or LI and V1. Atleast this way, you'd be protected by the best of both worlds. |
