Nice Job GOL!
Great lay out, easy to read, great job over all.
Talking with Denmark the guys would like to offer up their arsenal as well and join the fun. ( I use fun loosely, very )
Give us a heads up next shoot out and I will book the tickets.
I spoke with Torben and he and his engineer admit they would like to sit down and meet the GOL.
Holy crap things have come a long way, it's all good.
Thanks for a quality test and keep up the good work.
Donation from Blinder USA without it looking like a bribe, let me know.
I know the out of pocket monies to pull this off, hurts.

Thank you,
Blinder Dude

Thanks Leon... And it would be great to meet the Denmark guys! We'll be sure to get with you before next test. Hopefully, they'll have a lot of interesting non-US guns to bring

Let's see priorities:
The first CES show we had a few dancing Danish girls, no one could see the product.
Still to this day guys at all the shows ask about the danish dancers.
Those were the days, BTW they were under age and could not get in any bars, shame, shame, shame. Oh what a shame.
Now back to business they have guns from all over the world: black ones, white ones short ones, fat ones.
I will work the list for you.
Thanks again Jim, Steve and the rest, sorry I don't know the rest of you guys very well.

Great stuff! We will be hard pressed to top this test but it looks like we are off to a good start! Tell Torben and team great job. The sky is the limit with the full time engineer on board!

Darn it, I got so sidetracked by the side issues in this thread that I forgot to reply to the OP. I meant to reply, even before my name was brought up.

Just to clarify, I never questioned the integrity of GOL, and have no reason to do so. The only thing I ever questioned was image. I believe that it is important for GOL to protect their image in order to prevent questions of integrity. I think that the methods GOL sometimes uses to acquire the products the test leaves them open to some legitimate criticism. Do I think they are pulling anything shady? Of course not. But do I think it is possible for a product rep to pull something shady on GOL because of those practices? Sure. Not likely, but certainly possible.

Likewise, the constant sniping and bickering with "the Goons", and the months of trashing the Lager Tar simply because "the Goons" like it, when they had never actually tested it, opens GOL up to questions of bias. I mean, after all the smack you've laid down on the Lager Tar, could you really have publically admitted if it pwn3d the tests? Again, I think the answer is yes. I think you have the integrity to do so. But also again, months of biased pre-test behaviour does leave you open to the question.

Just some things to consider. Any reputation worth building is worth protecting. With just a little attention to detail, you won't have to throw out that caveat, "If you don't trust our results, then don't." People will no longer have any reason to not trust them.

For the record, I don't see a problem with Ivan being there. I don't see a problem with any reps being there as observers. In fact, I think it is healthy for both the tests and for the industry. These tests are where the rubber meets the road. That's where enthusiasts and industry types can come together to look at the field from different points of view, brainstorm, and come up with the next generation of products. So long as the reps aren't providing the products that are being tested and reported as "retail", I see no problem with them being there at all. I think anyone who finds a problem with that is simply looking for problems.

I dunno. Looks like hard work to me!

Currently I expect to be back in a different desert by this time next year (third time's a charm). And I am pretty new to this whole game compared to most of you guys. But if, given a year's time, I have contributed enough here to earn an invitation, then I would be honoured to participate. Who wouldn't be?
