Default Keep your personal info private. POLICE READ THIS FORUM!!!

In more than one court case, an officer has shown up in court with a printout of information which the defendant posted this forum.

Please remember that this forum is open to everyone, including any police officers who might read it.

When posting information about your case, it would be a good idea to keep as much information private as possible, and only post the details which are relevant for the discussion of your case. Be careful, or else you could inadvertently provide evidence against your case.

Default MA CitaTION FINE SCHEDULE

AMEN.

Not only should you blur out your personal info, but the Date written and date of offense (unless one is an "S")

Any citation number.

Officers' signature

Town / Agency code etc.....

You can always PM this info if you want to.

For those in Massachusetts:
Keep those thieves who ADD $50 to your speeding "fine" from robbing you.

Citations state:
Fines include surcharge.
http://www.sudbury.ma.us/services/in..._faq.asp?id=69

In other words:
The first 10 MPH is $100 and each 1 MPH is $10.

You can argue its $50 surcharge and then $50 for the first 10 MPH, but then you'll have paid the surcharge TWICE in most officers' calculation when they ADD $50 in.
Stick to the printed fine schedule
http://www.mass.gov/courts/courtsand...ssessments.pdf

Remember, you MAY deserve a ticket, but you also, may not!

Default Posting Delibrately False info could be intersting

Conversely, by posting deliberately false information including your REAL case number you could easily throw off the cop or prosecutor who reads it and calibrates his efforts accordingly.

Use deception and surprise at EVERY juncture when fighting a ticket.

There is a rule of Warfare called the "Directed Suicide Strategy."

Basically setting up a situation that permits the enemy (cop) to hang HIMSELF using posts on this forum with false info in them.

I LOVE this idea but fear it is not useful as I doubt many cops read this forum. I doubt seriously many cops can READ at all

This excerp from an email I got from HPDJim a couple of weeks ago might fit here. I thought about posting it when I got it but then just kind of forgot about it.

I advise not posting anything with them by name or any other smaller municipalities in your area.
