From an 8500 to 9500ix

Hey all, Had a x50 for a few weeks(loved it) and decided to go big with the 9500xi today. I have an issue though. I updated the software first. And I thought that also updated the Location Databases as well. So I went out to test her out as our local city commission has been putting in cameras over the last couple months. So I come up on two and nada. I made sure I had downloaded the databases and I had, but I can't seem to install them. Any help? I'm using XP and I'm of coarse on my 90 day free updates.

Download the latest update, put it in the "Detector Data" folder which should be in your "My Documents" folder.

Start Detector Tools.

Click "Merge your data (TrueLock & Marked locations) with the ESCORT location database."

It should find the latest update and install it. Then just let it finish.

O.K. I got it that time. Sorry to be such a stupid newbie. Thanks, this looks like the place for a wealth of information. Hope I can contribute something eventually.
