Thank you for the feedback, and I am glad you use the app. The app is growing rapidly, so you will continue to see improvements.

Which phone are you using while on these road trips?
I am currently using my Garmin Nuvi 200, because my phone will not support this. I confirm or add later when I get home if I can still remember the location When I update my phone I will certainly be adding it to that as well.

Welcome aboard I think you will get alot of real input here. If it works good you will hear it and if it works bad you will hear it as well. But it will be real valuable input from a bunch of great people
I just registered and downloaded Trapster to my Nuvi 760. I am planning a trip from NC to FL end of next week. I obviously will have to get updated before I go but how long will the upade be good for?
Another question. I have a Palm Treo phone will trapster work on this phone?

Ill let you know how it worked when I get back.

    Sounds good!

There are ways you could use your current phone, IE: Route Based Text Message (SMS) Alerts & using our free 800 number to call in traps while you are on the road...

But it sounds like you are set using the Garmin Nubi 200.

Which phone are thinking of upgrading to?

An Iphone probably... the internet is just so much better than anything else I have used to this point. Nonetheless, the more I think about it... I am not too sure how likely I will be to update while en route. I am usually going a little too fast to safely operate a phone while on my trips. I might try out the 800 number next time though, I can do that hands free. Thanks again for your awesome application and reaching out to our community!

Well your update will be static... so those traps are only good at that moment... since they can not be updated.

We are testing our Palm app now, so I will keep you updated on it's release.

How did you trip go? I was waiting for your review...

I havent made the trip yet. Going this friday. I have tried it out locally tho and have found that the few notifications it gave were pretty accurate for places cops like to hang out at. Good so far.
Im looking forward to the Palm phone app. Ive already put the word out at work so when it comes out we will all be using it

Yes, uploading points of interest is perfect for the "police often hide here" alerts... we will continue to improve our navigation device capability's... we have some new updates coming out soon, that I think you will like... can't say much more about it.

And the Palm app should be awesome!

Welcome aboard! I use it on my Garmin and on a trip this past weekend with a buddy he was very amazed at how accurate it was for all the speed traps.

Once it first went off he asked what it was, so I explained it. He was familiar with the area so he would start telling me there should be something up ahead and trapster would alert before he could finish his sentence.

This is a great success story!

Thank you for posting. We are about to do a site redesign and I am pushing for a section dedicated to "user success stories" So, this will go into my folder to be considered for that section.

Anyone else have a success story? I have a lot from users that would have been busted for speeding if it wasn't for Trapster.
