    I recently purchased an 8500 X50 Blue (in transit as we speak). Ever since purchasing it, I became interested in RD and am a natural "gadget whore" as it is so it was only a matter of time before I came upon this site.

    This site is great! Even after my short time spent here, I am impressed with the wealth of information.

    I currently have a Bel 870. I've had it since I was in high school and so it's lasted me 10 years. Not too bad for one of the low end models. I'm excited to upgrade, though.

    I have one. You will love it. Just play with all the mode and decide what works for you. I like expert with scanning dots.
